A seal re-learns to fly
As a SEAL, Jimmy was great at military freefall. He used HAHO and HALO techniques on operations, and at one point even taught at Military Freefall School. But after his leg got torn up by a bullet in Afghanistan, he had to re-learn to fly. Luckily, his friends at the world champion Arizona Arsenal skydiving team leapt at the chance to help out. In order to find them, I practice the lost art of Shunpiking — knowing when to “shun” the turnpike and get onto the back roads where the good stories are tucked away. The ones that remind us of our best selves.
